The Alma-Raíz collection (Soul-Root collection, in a literal translation) was born from my deepest dive into Brazilian identity, in this fascinating universe and the incredible artists who translate it through the hands.

A collection that recalls the past while reviving the present, it shows us how plural we, Brazilians, are, and that transit through the different universes of our culture is a great privilege.

Pieces that bring with them tucumã straw dyed with roots, leaves and fruits and show us that the tradition of the ancestral weaving of the artisans of the riverside community of Ucurureá, in the west of the Amazon Forest, coexists harmoniously with the contemporary knitting made with copper threads by artist Susana Fernandez.
